Laure Joliet is a Los Angeles-based photographer specializing in interiors, architecture and still life for editorial, design and advertising.
From the moment she was given her first camera, a Pentax K1000 at age 13, Laure has been capturing the spaces around her. From the mid-century apartment of her French grandparents to a fascination with the suburban everyday to the modern architecture of her native Los Angeles, her photographs spotlight the beauty she finds in the familiar details that others might overlook.
Trained at CalArts and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, she approaches her work conceptually as well as practically with a love for simplicity and a nod to the unexpected. Her clients include the Kor Group, California Home and Design, Living Etc., the New York Times, Apartment Therapy and Dwell.
You can find her work daily on her own blog, At Home At Home.
