Bio + Contact
Laure Joliet is a Los Angeles-based photographer with an eye for living things and lived-in spaces. Even when published in prestigious outlets like The New York Times, T Magazine, Domino Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Anthology, or Freunde von Freunden, her images are intimate, inviting, and unpretentious—they immediately convey the fundamental magic of spaces lit mostly by the sun.
Her interiors, shot with an architectural attention to detail that belies the softness of their effect, can be seen in range of national and international design journals, and are coveted by client list that includes iTunes, West Elm, Target, The Ace Hotel and Barbara Bestor. Joliet grew up between Los Angeles and France, and studied at both CalArts and the Ecole des Beaux Arts; the resulting balance of continental sensibilities and West Coast cool is clear in her work.
